Brian McCann and Dan Uggla both hit three-run home runs tonight against the Marlins.
Dan Uggla set a new career season high with 34 home runs and Brian McCann tied his career high of 24.
The Braves won 7-1.
And to think, a few people were upset about Uggla earlier this season! When Uggla’s hot, he’s hot! :)
guys assume I know nothing about baseball because I’m a girl. I also love the look on their face when I prove I know more about baseball then them.
OKAY! Can I just say, I adore Dan Uggla! I mean really! The guy acts the same when he’s doing good as he does when he’s slumping. He seems like such an amazing person! He’s humble & stays positive & doesn’t act like a jerk just cause he’s doing good now. He’s just Dan Uggla.
My reason for posting this is because of this quote:
On being back on the cusp of 30 homers, like normal:

Mike Minor was brilliant tonight against the Giants.
His line: 6.0 IP, 9 K, 4 H, BB
The Braves defeated the Giants 1-0.
I’m so happy for Mike Minor!
He’s constantly being promoted and demoted and he hasn’t really got the chance to prove what he can do at the major league level. He’s still a little inconsistent with his control (at the MLB level), but that should improve with experience. Some Braves fans have already wrote him off, but if he gets a chance he’s going to be a fantastic starter for the Braves. (IMO).
