I read an article about Jordan Schafer’s toe injury. This was the last paragraph of the article:
Schafer wrote on his Twitter account early Wednesday: “I don’t think I’ve ever been in this much pain!!!!!!” When asked to comment on his condition at the ballpark prior to Wednesday’s game, a groggy Schafer declined and said he was going back to sleep.
The last sentence made me smile. I mean, it sucks that he’s injured but AW! He just wants to go back to bed!

One of their teams has a worse record then the Astros right now. The other team is only one game ahead of the Astros.

Watched the Chris Johnson Mic’d video & apparently Jordan gets made fun of because he doesn’t know Take Me Out To The Baseball! I don’t know how he doesn’t know that but eh, it’s adorable all the same! :P
You know, at first, I wasn’t happy about the Bourn-Schafer trade but now I’m really glad the trade happened! Schafer is doing good in Houston & has a chance to just keep getting better! (I honestly don’t think he would be doing this well in Atlanta. Even though I wish he was still in a Braves uniform, simply because I love my Braves & Jordan Schafer is one of my favorite players) But yeah… I really hope he keeps doing good in Houston! :)
So not only did the Astros finish with a 100+ loss record this season, but the postseason is also filled with woes.

- But the real tragedy is an Astro minor leaguer, Dustin Kellog, passed away in a car accident earlier today. [x] Thoughts and prayers to his family.
A few things!
1. Jordan Schafer got arrested for possession of Marijuana. Not cool. He has the opportunity to be a pretty good major league ballplayer but this is not helping him. He needs to FOCUS! I still love him, I do. I’m not saying that I’m okay with this but i still love him.
2. I was reading the comments of the article & someone said that the Braves gave him every opportunity to prove he was worth their time. My response to that: NO THEY FUCKING DIDN’T! I love my Braves & will stand by them until I die but they really did not give him that many opportunities. They gave him a starting job a few years ago & he ended up hurting himself. After that injury, he stayed in the minors for 2 years I think. Then they got Nate McLouth (I have so many opinions on McLouth but not gonna go into that now). McLouth got hurt, which is the only reason, in my opinion, that Jordan got called up. He did good when he was up, then he got hurt again, & the Braves ended up trading him away. Which was probably good because if they had kept him & still gotten Bourn, I feel like Jordan would be back in the minors. I feel like the Braves did good things for him but they didn’t give him every opportunity they could have.
Did that make sense? I feel like after awhile I started rambling…
Also! Can I point out, it seems like whenever Jordan starts doing good & proving himself, he gets hurt. Yeah… Just noticed that really…
ANYWAYS! I don’t know what’s gonna happen now cause I don’t really know anything about what happens when you get caught with pot. So, we shall see what happens…
I took a nap & woke up with 2 outs in the bottom of the 2nd. The first at bat I saw was Dan Uggla’s 2-run home run! It was an AWESOME thing to wake up to!
Braves winning 3-1 going into top of 5th.
Cards winning 4-0 top of the 1st. (Have had to change this about 3 times since I started typing this…)
THIS IS REALLY STRESSFUL! I have faith in the Astros though! It’s only the 1st inning & baseball is very unpredictable! :)

Also, I finally looked up what was up with Jordan Schafer & why he wasn’t playing. So, I hope he starts to feel better. Though I won’t see him play until Spring Training.
Also, Jarrod Saltalamacchia is day-to-day on the DL, which just makes me way sad. He’s gone through so much & to be hurt SO CLOSE to playing in the postseason! UH! He NEVER catches Beckett & he had to catch Beckett & he got hurt. THIS IS WHY HE DOESN’T CATCH FOR BECKETT! >.<
