I’m in baseball withdrawal! So, yay!
I’m ready for it to be baseball season! :D
made the comment, “Baseball is a year round sport.”
My first response, which I didn’t say out loud, “WTF? Do you even think before you talk.” But then I thought about it & realized, God I wish baseball was a year round sport!
I love my roommate, I do, but she isn’t the brightest when it comes to baseball.
This is the same roommate who said baseball was just a sport. She told me this when I told her that I had to check on one of my friends who was upset when Buerhle signed with the Marlins.
BASEBALL ISN’T JUST A SPORT TO ME! It’s kinda a really big deal for me & my friend. She knows this but still told me it was just a sport & he shouldn’t be that upset over Buerhle. I just nodded when she told me this & when I told my friend, he wasn’t impressed.
But yes, baseball is just a sport to some people but to others, IT IS A WAY OF LIFE!

That whenever I start to do my homework, something baseball related catches my eye? Like, I start looking for current events & then BAM! Look, a pretty picture of a baseball player! Which makes me wonder if anything new has happened with said player. Then I wonder about the team in general. Then I find an awesome video. & just like that! It’s an hour later & I’ve done nothing for my homework!
Moral of the story is, SCHOOL IS GETTING IN THE WAY OF BASEBALL!
So, last night I was supposed to have a paper for a group project by midnight. At about 10, my friend, who was also supposed to be writing a paper, decided to quiz me on Frank Thomas. Which got him looking at stuff about baseball, which in turn got me looking up stuff about baseball. Next thing I know, it’s about 11:30. I start writing the paper and about ten minutes later, mlbtraderumors tweets about Mark Burhrle, who my friend loves. So, we read the article & I’m back on baseball!
I finished the paper though, only a little late, & went right back to baseball… The moral of the story is, I’m in baseball withdrawal & am ready for it to be baseball season!
opened my phone, got on the internet, & spent all class reading about baseball!
